ADJ

ADJ originates from and is based in London.

He has been playing Underground Electronic Music for over 35 years as a DJ, starting in the days of Early Electro and Hip Hop. He has also been producing and releasing music for 25 years, releasing over 200 tracks in this time on a plethora of labels including Andrea Parker's Touchin Bass, For Those That Knoe, Another Perspective, Tensor Norm, Woodwork, Ai, Outside USA, Cultivated Electronics, Section 27, Yellow Machines, Crobot Muzik - Croatia (with Advent), Diffuse Reality,,Battery Park - Germany, Kidnapping Netlabel - Argentina, Interakt, Shameless Toady, District 6, Open Mind, Electro Compendium, Digital Distortions, Fundamental and has done remixes for Flint Kids, Scanone, Ed Chamberlain, Sync24,Lifecycle,LASynthesis,Carbinax,Nter, Carl Finlow, Fleck Esc, Dj Astrobee, Arsonist Recorder and Paul Hierophant. '.

He has run the Pyramid Transmissions Record label with label partner Pathic for 20 years and also ran the Analogique record label for 5 years from 1995-2000 releasing Techno, Electro and Electronica as 3 Elements.

As a DJ, he has played at many festivals including a BLOC residency, Glastonbury For BLOC, Bestival, Shambala, Infiltrate at WMC Miami. 2019 saw another tour of the US with Silicon Scally,Ben Milstein, EVAC, Ion Driver and 214. He also runs the Dodo Club and Frequency Resonate(with Errorbeauty) nights in London and Berlin aswell as playing in Lille, Kiev, Moscow, St Petersburg Berlin,Zagreb,Athens, Napoli, Brussels, Budapest, Vienna, Valencia, Sofia, Paris and played for the SKIZZE Crew/X-Ploration and also at Greismuhlle in Berlin, Barcelona (for CERCLE) Madrid and Valencia (with UMWELT). He has played in 2021 for Datamine, Hybrid and Specimen Records and Aaja.

ADJ also performed his first LIVE set in a few years in March 2020 @MUTABOR in Moscow.
ADJ is currently working on several projects and has released vinyls on For Those That Knoe, Another Perspective, Tensor Norm in 2020/21 with forthcoming vinyl on Science Cult and Arkada in early 2022. He has also released several remixes on Diffuse Reality, Specimen, Hierophant Dubs/Exalt , Woodwork in 2020/21 .

Phausis

Born in London and raised on a mix of electronica and Detroit techno, Phausis doesn't put his head above ground to release music very often. With the occasional release on Earthlings, Acre, Subgrade and the Anti-Social Network, here he presents two rare tracks of electro for his friends at Arkada

T15DM

Who is behind T15DM?
Dr. Skunkenstein, Heuristic Audio and Delinquent Dialect.

How did you start T15DM?
It started as an idea for a live project intermixed with
DJing in a club environment. Our jams then
developed into tracks as we felt it was an easier way
to organise our live sets. our music in the early days
was rather chaotic, it was written in such a way that
elements were interchangeable.

What are your musical backgrounds and influences
and what was your first experience with music?
Punk rock and post punk stuff, classical music (such
as Vaughan Williams) and lots of early electronics
are all major influences.

Where are the sounds coming from?Are they entirely analog?
Are you experimenting with new machines?
We’re still developing a sound that we all like, often
we know what is required to suit a track and we use
a variety of methods to design our sound.
Often we get there by misusing the equipment,
making machines do things they weren’t meant to or c
haning things together that don’t really go.
We also pull the recordings apart, and try and make
sence of the madness.

Do you feel positive about the future of underground
music?
No!
We know that your music is released only on vinyl
and not digitally.

Is there any particular reason for
that?
Vinyl is beautiful! It’s an incredible medium. For us,
we respect a vinyl release as being a tangible and
real thing, hopefully that lasts.

How would you describe the music that you are
making?
Disruptive?

Which other artists are you into? Do you buy vinyl
yourself?
Delinquent Dialect: Right now I’m listening to a lot of
old acid house and I’m quite digging a lot recent
Techno, such New York Trax and Paul Birken.
I tend to like my techno more aggressive than what
it has been the past decade. You know, something
you can actually dance to.
What do you think about the future of the internet?
It will be regulated, and controlled.

How does it work when three of you are working remotely from each other? Do you ever disagree with the process of making music?
We are great friends. We argue a lot, and unfortunately one of us tend to compromise. This means that getting the results we are after can be a
tricky path, although we are all after the same thing.
it doesn’t seem to slow us down, we are quite prolific.
The music is what matters.

Do you release music individually apart from t15DM?
We all have various other side projects-I’m sure you ‘ll
hear some of that later.

What projects are you working on at the moment?
Can we expect new releases from T15DM?
There are a couple of releases planned, hopefully
before too long.

Adrien d'Elzius

Adrien d’Elzius was born in the gloomy south of Belgium spending his youth hanging around in a camping and listening to Hip Hop, he started his life in a mess of paradox. At 10, he learned to play drums under his punk’s brother regard, and experimented different kind of rock until 18. That’s where someone showed him a track of Aphex Twin, who blew his mind and made him believe he had finally found the music that suited him. From there, he compulsively spend hours playing around with his computer and slowly made himself a place in the very small community of underground music lover of Brussels under the nickname hosmOz after winning a contest. From his melodic and acidic drill’n’bass beginning, his sound slowed down and got darker, challenging himself to try to create something he couldn’t before. He recently re-released his Lp on Diffuse Reality that make it available on physical form and another one on the German label Burial Soil with remixes by Umwelt and Lloyd Stellar.

Co-founder and Generalissimo at Brainstormlab, and master General at Distant Future with well over 10 years of live gigs under his belt, JFrank is well known for his late night dancefloor breaks and has played everywhere from the arthouse to the doghouse – London warehouses and Berlin basements to Spanish squats and Roman ruins – with his special brand of space-age electronics. Along with a broad portfolio of releases, he currently has vinyl out on Pyramid Transmissions, Kaer’uiks and The Irrational Media Society.

Serge Geyzel

Fizzling the borders between different worlds of music, Berlin-based musician, Serge Geyzel originates from a classical and jazz music background.
Born in Saratov, Russia, the musician dedicated 12 years of his life to the study of classical music, with a specific focus on the piano.

Bulgarian born, London-based Errorbeauty has been meticulously piecing together her impressive catalogue of releases since beginning Djing back in 2003.

A professional flute musician by way of background,she gradually became drawn to electronic music’s intricately textured soundscapes - more specifically the broken, aggressive shades of Detroit Electro. Errorbeauty’s work continues to evolve and offers listeners a distinct reflection of Motor City’s relationship with the genre whilst demonstrating her own unique perspective of Electro.
